Johnson Gardner 1830

Perhaps the first known wage "check" written in Wyoming. This remarkable document appears to be a simple financial transaction, but bears the signatures of four major figures in the St Louis based Rocky Mountain fur trade. It also involves the three major mountain fur trade companies including RMFC and AFC who were fierce competitors at the time.
