Public invited to help name new Sublette County hospital
by Sublette County Rural Health Care District
January 3, 2018
After the recent selection of the Design Build firm, Sletten Construction of Wyoming, the Sublette County Rural Health Care District is inviting the local community to get involved in the creative process of naming the future critical access hospital where the District will continue to provide accessible, progressive, patient-focused healthcare in a positive environment.
Scott Scherbel, Board Chairman, said, "We are very clear that we need our patients and the community to be involved in the future of the hospital from the start, so we are asking people to join us in this exciting journey". The hospital name public vote is just one way you can participate and we will always be looking for more ways to get the community involved.
Last month, the District developed an internal staff survey which resulted in several names that were a good fit representing quality health care in the community that we live in. Of those, the top three were Sublette County Medical Center, Sublette Community Hospital, and Sublette Medical Center. Now, the Board of Trustees would like to hear from everyone in the County. Vote for one of those three or, if you have one you like better, write it in and tell everyone you know to do the same. To cast your vote or add a new name, go to http://sublettehealthcare.com/.
The last day to vote will be January 15th. The voting results will be presented to the Trustees at the board meeting on January 17, 2018. By the way, if you want your name on the hospital, a sizeable donation will do the trick.
