The Stud Horse Butte Riders
Riding Hydrocarbon this team is in it to win it.

Paul Ulrich, Nick Taylor and Cole Peterson have teamed up to Run for the Roses! And support a great cause.

Go Team Bing
Riding their horse named Bob - this team will be one to watch. Coming from an authentic Western line that dates back to 1947 - this team has their western boots, their great hats and a few tricks up their sleeves.

Harber Construction - with El Cabello Mejor

Please pay attention when approaching El Caballo Mejor. Trainer Jake Harber admits the stallion has a tendency to get a little excited when all four hooves are on dirt which has been rare this winter! Owner Brooke Hornberger had to purchase a sled and plow to keep the stallion busy and strong this winter. Jockey Carson Stinson recently stated this is the only horse that can plow through 8 feet of wind blow snow AND pull a sled of kids to school without breaking a sweat! Not only is El Caballo Mejor a true stud, he has a fun name to pronounce (which means "the best horse" in Spanish) and he is the most powerful horse in the Run for the Roses!

Horse named Headgear
Running three students who are wearing braces from Dr. Owen's, this team will be young and fast.

Headgear is the epitome of racing efficiency. If you want to bet on a horse that won't let you down, bet on Headgear!

Caselot Fever
Caselot Fever" was foaled in Twin Falls, ID. It's rumored that he was born under a full moon during a Ridley' caselot sale, and was delivered by Mark Ridley himself.

He met his trainer, Jackie Omoth, when she was attacked by a herd of vicious bears in the Ridley's parking lot. Caselot Fever bravely came to her aid, and the bond between woman and horse was forged.

Recently there have been allegations that Caselot Fever's recent successes have been due to doping. These unscrupulous attacks can only be seen as a desperate bid by other competitors to discredit the beloved horse. Stanton Meats, and jockey for the race, vehemently denies that Caselot Fever has been given any performance enhancing drugs. He does, however, note that Caselot Fever does eat a lot doughnuts from the bakery, and that some of the ingredients therein may be unverifiable.

Ashley Kerr, current owner of the horse, says "Caselot Fever personifies equine excellence, and will of course win the Run for the Roses. I expect those of our competitors who survive will rue the day they faced Caselot Fever."

Fluid and Tires
This might be the dream team! Garry, Tyler and Cody are ready for action.

Back in the day Greasy Skid Marks was the horse to beat and we have all the confidence that he will be in the winner's circle again. Born and raised in Marbleton, he might be exactly the horse to beat.
