Meeting Notice: Officials to discuss Sublette County Speed Limits June 9
June 8, 2016
House District 20 Representative Albert Sommers, the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT), and the Wyoming Game and Fish Department (WGFD) invite the public to a discussion on the increased speed limits on Sublette County highways. The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, at the Sublette County Weed & Pest Building at 12 South Bench Road in Pinedale.
The passage of the legislative bill SF72 has led to an increase in the statutory speed limit on some state highways in Sublette County to 70 mph, which has resulted in many questions and concerns from the public.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide the public with information about the new speed limit and address any questions or concerns the public may have about the new speed limits. Both WYDOT and WGFD will be available to address concerns about vehicle/animal collisions, as well as other potential issues on Wyoming's highways.
