Town of Pinedale update – Mountain Man Christmas Dec. 12
by Town of Pinedale
December 3, 2015
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas—Pinedale this means us. We know everyone is hustling and bustling to get their shopping done and have some fun too. You’re in luck! Saturday December 12th, Mountain Man Christmas, the Christmas Tree Lighting, and the Christmas Parade all happen! Many Town retailers will be open late (until 9 PM) and most will have treats to go along with their sales. Eateries and pubs are offering all kinds of delicious and festive holiday specials! The tree lighting (at 5:30) is sure to be spectacular again this year. And of course the parade of lights at 6 PM, who doesn’t love a nighttime lighted parade? It will be cold so, seniors if you want a warm place to watch the parade, you are welcome to watch from inside Town Hall from 4-till the parade ends. We’ll have the lights on and the cocoa ready.
So, Pinedale come on out and shop till you drop, then eat, drink and be merry! Stay local and play local!
I know we have talked about freezing temperatures and bleeding lines before but we want to remind you again. Don’t forget to you need to leave the bleeder line running, at all times, when temperatures are freezing or below—just a pencil lead sized stream of water flowing will help prevent pipe freezes. Also, remember to keep your water meter warm. If the meter freezes, water may leak out causing additional damage, and it will be costly to replace.
The Town Staff wants to wish everyone a happy holidays and a wonderful Christmas here in Pinedale.
We will see you during the Christmas Parade- look for the snow plow, or stop by the Town Hall for some Hot Cocoa!
