Street chip sealing to begin Sept. 11 in Pinedale
September 9, 2015
The Town of Pinedale will begin a road chip seal project on Friday, September 11. This is part of an overall maintenance program recently initiated by the Town of Pinedale Public Works. The Town has been divided into four parts, or quadrants, which will be on a maintenance rotation ensuring all roads are cared for at a minimum of once every four years.
Beginning Friday, Sept. 11, the first quadrant will get chip seal road maintenance. This area includes the southwest corner of Pinedale, plus a couple of high traffic areas, S. Tyler and Fremont Lake Road. The work will begin at Club House Drive and Country Club Lane, working east, south of Pine Street. Then the work will move over to Clark toward Fremont Lake Road.
The Town will try to notify residents of affected areas in advance with door hangers. They ask that vehicles be parked in driveways or kept off the street to avoid having them towed. A complete list of roads can be obtained on the Town’s website www.townofpinedale.us, by stopping Pinedale Town Hall or calling Town Hall at 307-367-4136.
The Town of Pinedale thanks everyone for their patience while the project is underway. "We know it is a little inconvenient, and we thank you in advance for your careful attention to safety in these areas and your patience while we ask you to detour and not park on the street," a Town media release stated.
