 March 28, 2014
Friday, March 28, 9:30AM report: 28 degrees, slight breeze. 4-6 inches of fresh snow this morning snowing now. Looks like clouds might be breaking up a bit. All trails above freshly groomed. The trail closure to the new loop trail section where Kelly tie In trail meets Kelly Park if still in effect due to a couple of moose in there this is the section of trail that had the closure a few weeks ago due to the calf moose stuck in there. The closure is for safety for skiers and to give the moose a chance to rest from the deep snow and find their way out on their own the trail is blocked on both ends with orange stake markings and signs. If you encounter wildlife on the trail during your outings, please turn around and go a different direction and use a different trail so you dont disturb them. The road is plowed it is snow-packed with ice and slush on it. No grooming tomorrow.
