Monday, Feb. 17, 9:30 AM report: All trails above groomed this morning except for Flatline and Heart Attack. Overcast skies, 22 degrees, a little flat light. The high winds yesterday left a lot of debris on the trails. Had to chainsaw cut out two big trees that fell across the Powerline Loop on Lower Surveyor and stop many times to remove fallen large branches on the trail. There still is a lot of small debris around - pine cones, needles, small twigs. Hopefully won’t be as windy today. Should make it to the CCC Ponds before noon. Will get to the golf course tomorrow. Skyline Drive not plowed yet. Watch for ice and patches of drifted snow – drive with caution.
