BLM annual PAPA planning meetings Feb. 20 & 21

The Wildlife Annual Planning Meeting (APM) for the Pinedale Anticline Project Area (PAPA) will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 20, and the Development APM on Thursday, Feb. 21, at the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Pinedale Field Office, 1625 W. Pine St., Pinedale, Wyoming., beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Topics for the Wildlife APM will include PAPA Wildlife Monitoring and Mitigation Matrix species reports, wildlife monitoring results, the proposed Sublette mule deer habitat project, the Mesa fertilization project, and snow depth and traffic.
Wildlife reports for pygmy rabbit, White-tailed Prairie Dog, raptors, Greater Sage-Grouse, Pronghorn antelope and mule deer will be available for public review at www.wy.blm.gov/jio-papo on Thursday, Feb. 14.

Topics for the Development APM will include recent and projected operator activities, PAPA electrification, crucial winter range delineation, reclamation, BLM best management practices for reducing wildlife mortality from various fluid mineral systems, and BLM permitting and inspection activities as well as management decisions.

Both meetings are open to the public with opportunities for public comment.
