Forest Supervisor Jacque Buchanan of the Bridger-Teton National Forest has made several administrative changes to the management personnel across the 3.4 million acre National Forest.
Adam Mendonca will continue to be the Greys River District Ranger in Afton, Wyoming and also serve as the temporary District Ranger in Kemmerer, Wyoming for the Kemmerer Ranger District. Former District Ranger Tracy Hollingshead left the position in Kemmerer in early 2012. Martha Williamson, Forest Fire Planner, served as District Ranger for the last 120-days before Mendonca was assigned the responsibility of managing both districts. Mendonca has worked as Greys River District Ranger since October, 2012.
Dan Kranendonk will begin working as the Big Piney District Ranger on Tuesday, October 9, 2012. Kranendonk comes from The Bureau of Land Management where he serves as the Assistant Field Manager of the office in Price, Utah. Kranendonk will serve a 120-day detail in the vacant Ranger position. Eric Winthers, Forest Hydrologist, was previously serving as District Ranger and will return to his regular duties on the Forest.
Earlier in September, Buchanan also assigned Forest Rangeland specialist Dave Cottle as the temporary District Ranger for the Jackson Ranger District while Jackson District Ranger Dale Deiter was temporarily promoted to Deputy Forest Supervisor. Deiter is expected to remain in the temporary position until early 2013.
