by Wyoming Game & Fish
July 8, 2012
People in northwest Wyoming will have a chance to hear about the fisheries in the Green and New Fork rivers near Pinedale at an upcoming informational meeting. The meeting will be held Monday, July 9, at the Pinedale Game and Fish office, starting at 6 p.m.
Biologists will present information on fish population surveys for both rivers and discuss public access areas for both wading and boat anglers. The 2012-2013 fishing regulations will also be discussed with plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion.
"The purpose of this meeting is simply to have an open discussion with those people who use the resources we manage," said Pinedale Fish Supervisor, Hilda Sexauer. "We’d like to inform people on the status of these popular fisheries and management options under consideration for these rivers."
