Saddle up and come 'on down to join the Sublette County Library in celebrating National Cowboy Poetry Week and National Poetry Month. Certified cowboy poet and humorist Andy Nelson will present an evening of poetry to remember for cowgirls and cowboys of all ages. City slickers and cowpokes alike are encouraged to "dress western" and enjoy fun for the whole family! A good ole ice cream social will follow. The social will be on Thursday, April 19th at 6:30 PM in the Lovatt Room of the Pinedale Library.

In 2006, Andy Nelson was named the Western Music Association's "Male Poet of the Year" and was recently awarded the 2009 "Skinny Roland Humor Award" from the Academy of Western Artists. He performs frequently throughout the U.S. but lives in Pinedale where he and his wife Jaclyn raise horses and children.
