March is Women’s History Month and the Sublette County Library at 155 S Tyler Ave in Pinedale is celebrating by hosting a thought provoking lunchtime discussion series on topics that reflect women’s changing choices and insights. These conversations will take place on Wednesdays in the Board Room from 11:45 am to 1:15 pm. Discussions begin promptly at noon. Bring your lunch—beverages and cookies will be provided.

Below is a list of speakers and their topics:

March 7th: Changes in Educational Opportunities for Women
Sally Mackey and Ellen Reed

March 14th: Role Changes for Husbands and Wives: Expectations vs. Reality
Lars and Suzy Michnevich

March 21st: Changes in Domestic Violence in the Last 50 Years
Robin Clover of the SAFV Task Force

March 28th: Is "Feminist" a Naughty Word?
Michelle Humber and Cassandra Hunter

Throughout the month of March, the public is encouraged to browse the book display in the main part of the library and to check out books, movies and music related to Women’s History Month. Wyoming Women, a collection of historic photographs from the University of Wyoming’s American Heritage Center, will be on display on the gallery walls in the new addition.
