JIO/PAPO project application deadline Oct. 31

The Jonah Interagency Office (JIO) and the Pinedale Anticline Project Office (PAPO) will accept applications for the funding of mitigation projects planned for 2012 until October 31.
All applications will be evaluated by the JIO/PAPO based on the likelihood of producing positive mitigation results. Recommendations for funding will be forwarded to the governing Board of Directors and a final decision made in March. There is no guarantee that an application will be funded.
Potential applicants are encouraged to visit the JIO/PAPO website at http://www.wy.blm.gov/jio-papo/index.htm for more information on the types of projects which are considered for funding or contact a member of the JIO/PAPO team at 307-367-5300 for assistance.
Applicants should use the funding application available at http://www.wy.blm.gov/jio-papo/jio/index.htm for JIO projects or http://www.wy.blm.gov/jio-papo/papo/index.htm for PAPO projects. Applications and supporting documents should be submitted by email to BLM_WY_HDD_PD_JIO_PAPO@blm.gov or mailed to JIO/PAPO, P.O. Box 768, 1625 W. Pine St., Pinedale, WY 82941. Receipt of applications will be verified with senders within five business days.
