Pinedale Anticline Working Group Hosts Field Tour and Meeting Aug. 3

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Pinedale Anticline Working Group (PAWG) will meet on Wednesday, Aug. 3 at 9 a.m. in the Pinedale Field Office (PFO) Rendezvous Room at 1625 W. Pine St. in Pinedale, Wyo. This meeting will focus on field tour topics of interest and follow-up items to the May PAWG meeting, including a water update and the status of the Geomatrix study.
A companion field tour of the Pinedale Anticline Project Area is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 2 and will highlight various issues such as mitigation treatments, habitat improvement projects, vegetation manipulation and fuels projects. The field tour is open to the public and will depart from the PFO at 10 a.m. Space is limited; interested persons should reserve a seat by contacting Shelley Gregory at 307-315-0612 or email@example.com no later than July 22. Participants should arrive five minutes before departure and bring refreshments as the tour will span the lunch hour and continue through late afternoon.
The PAWG is tasked with providing balanced recommendations to the BLM on the development and implementation of monitoring plans, mitigation and adaptive management decisions pertinent to oil and gas activities in the PAPA.
