PAWG Field Tour and Meeting Aug 2 & 3

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Pinedale Anticline Working Group (PAWG) agendas for the Aug. 2 field tour and Aug. 3 meeting are now available on the PAWG webpage at www.blm.gov/wy/st/en/field_offices/Pinedale/pawg.html and the Sublette County Library at 155 S. Tyler Ave. in Pinedale, Wyoming.
The Aug. 2 field tour will visit several sites to highlight habitat treatment projects and their relative benefits. Biologists will present information regarding seasonal habitat requirements for mule deer and other species and discuss the relative pros and cons of various habitat treatment methods.
The field tour is open to the public and will depart from the PFO at 10 a.m. Space is limited; interested persons should reserve a seat by contacting Shelley Gregory at 307-315-0612 or email@example.com. Participants should arrive by 9:30 and bring a lunch as the tour will span the lunch hour and continue through late afternoon.
The Aug. 3 meeting will take place at the PFO Rendezvous Room at 1625 W. Pine St. in Pinedale, Wyo. and will focus on field tour topics of interest and follow-up items to the May PAWG meeting, including a water update and the status of the Geomatrix study.
The Pinedale Field Office will be asking the PAWG for advice and recommendations regarding habitat areas of focus and methods, timing, size and layout of treatments. The PAWG recognizes that not all interested parties are able to attend meetings in person and asks that the public to provide suggestions or questions regarding meeting topics and the advice they will be requested to provide by emailing them at PAWG_WY@blm.gov.
