The Wyoming Game and Fish Department and Rocky Mountain
Power teamed up for a rescue of an osprey that had become
entangled in its nesting material Tuesday afternoon. The nesting platform is located adjacent to Highway 351, and contains two young birds, including the one involved in this incident.

    With Mike guiding the bucket, and with supervision from above, Bernie places the osprey back into the nest. Whether it will be able to survive its ordeal is unknown.
