2009 Hunting & Fishing licenses expire December 31
by Wyoming Game & Fish
December 16, 2009

Wyoming hunters and anglers are reminded that 2009 licenses expire Thursday, Dec. 31.

2010 hunting, fishing and trapping licenses and conservation stamps will be available at local license selling agents and the Jackson and Pinedale Regional Game and Fish offices beginning Monday, Dec. 21.

2010 licenses can be purchased online at: https://gf.state.wy.us beginning Friday, Jan. 1, 2010.

When buying your new licenses for 2010, don’t forget to donate to the AccessYes program. On average, each dollar donated opens four acres of access. Anglers were able to enjoy Walk-In access to 272 lake or pond acres and nearly 100 miles of streams. Lands enrolled in the AccessYes program are found in every county in the state. All dollars donated to the program go towards purchasing access.

Hunters and anglers who have continuously resided in Wyoming for at least 10 years may want to consider purchasing a lifetime game bird/fish/small game license or a lifetime fishing license. Anyone can purchase a lifetime conservation stamp. A lifetime license or conservation stamp is a great gift idea for last minute shoppers with a hunter or angler on their list. Once a lifetime license is purchased it can be used even if the owner moves out of the state.
