Students from Arlinda McLaughlin's 3rd grade class in Pinedale proudly display puppets they made on Wednesday as part of the Tears of Joy Theatre (TOTJ) puppet making residency.
Actor/puppeteers from TOJT will be working with Pinedale Elementary students through Friday first focusing on puppet making, then producing a small play which the students will act out with the puppets they made.
The actor/teachers of the workshop, Kate Mura and Aaron Lathrop (of Portland, Oregon), will also be performing a free matinee of "The Reluctant Dragon" this Saturday, Oct. 18 at 2:00 pm in the Pinedale Auditorium. The show is puppet based and appropriate for all ages.
The TOJT production and in-school residency is presented by the Pinedale Fine Arts Council.
