The Sublette County Rodeo Queen contest was held on Saturday in Big Piney. Twelve beautiful contestants competed in three categories for three age groupings. The contestants were quizzed by two judges about their knowledge of horses, the care and feedings and the training of horses. They were judged on their overall horsemanship and, depending upon age, had to perform an increasingly difficult riding pattern with their horse. Lastly, they had an on-stage interview and were asked an unrehearsed question.

The winners of the contest were:
Miss Sublette County Rodeo Junior Princess--Liberty Runyan
Miss Sublette County Rodeo Senior Princess--Lisanne Fear
Miss Sublette County Rodeo Queen--Hailey Kogianes

The three winners will represent Sublette County at various rodeo's and county fairs throughout the state during the summer.

In addition Hailey Kogianes will compete for Miss Rodeo Wyoming at the Wyoming State Fair in August in Douglas.
