Nationally recognized photographer Fred Pflughoft will have a photography exhibit show of Backyard Birds at the Pinedale Library during the month of December, the 1st through December 30th. There will be a Photographer’s Reception on Thursday, December 4th from 5-8PM in the Library exhibit area.
Fred has been a professional photographer since 1988. Over the course of ten years from 1998 to 2008 he was the principal photographer or one of two in the production of 31 books, including nine coffee table books. Among those were Wild & Beautiful Wyoming, Wild & Beautiful Yellowstone, Wild & Beautiful Grand Teton, Great Lodges of the West (A Benjamin Franklin Award Winner), and Great Lodges of the Canadian Rockies.
Most recently, Fred has focused his photographic pursuits on wildlife, with an emphasis on his lifetime hobby of birding. The images for this show are a small compilation of bird photography he has done from his backyard blind.
All images are for sale and will be sold to the highest bidder with the auction closing at 8:00PM on Monday, December 22nd. Check the hallway door for details. All buyers will be able to pick up their winning bid on Sunday, December 23rd (especially if using for a Christmas present) or leaving until the end of the exhibit (much appreciated.)
