26: Meeting of the Upper Green River Basin Local Sage Grouse Working
Group At the Bureau of Land Management Office at
1625 West Pine Street in Pinedale, from 10:00AM to 5:00 PM. One topic of
discussion will be consideration of minor modifications to outer boundaries
of the current sage grouse “Core Areas”. Governor Freudenthal's
Statewide Sage Grouse Implementation Team has been assigned to evaluate
and revise the current Core Area boundaries as appropriate using specific
biological and land use (development) sideboards. The Implementation Team
has requested local input via the Local Sage Grouse Working Groups. The
core area discussion is scheduled to take place from 10:00AM to noon. Also
of note will be a discussion on the results of recently completed research
regarding ravens in the Pinedale area. That discussion will take place

Nature Camp for 50 children ages 7-14. The
week of hands-on, outdoor, experiential learning is designed to foster an appreciation
for and love of nature using the public and private lands "classroom" of
Sublette County - including lands on which the GRVLT holds conservation easements.
The cost of camp for the week is $275 per child, including transportation, lunch
and 2 healthy snacks a day. Scholarships will be available - information is included

Rocky Mountain Fur Trade Journal (5th edition) The Journal is an academic,
peer-reviewed publication on ideas and topics related to the early 1800 fur trade
(1824-1840).
The Journal encourages research and debate in an academic arena, exploring
new perspectives and innovative topics that challenge previously accepted theories
in a defendable manner. Up to ten authors are selected for inclusion in the upcoming
issue. Each selected writer receives a $1,000 cash award. The volume will be
released
to the public at the 2011 Green River Rendezvous the second weekend in July at
