STILL ACCEPTING SPONSORS FOR THE CLOUD AIR QUALITY & OZONE FORUM ON MAY 13TH To help pay for the radio broadcast CLOUD (Citizens Learning about Ozone's Unhealthy Destruction) is an unorganized group of concerned local citizens in Sublette County who wish more information on the health effects of high levels of ozone in the air we breathe. The group's only purpose and agenda is to put on an educational forum of independent experts for public information purposes. There is an advertising opportunity for anyone who wishes to help sponsor the radio broadcast component so those who cannot physically attend the forum can still listen to it live on the radio. Cost is $100 for a "name mention" as a sponsor. Higher amounts can get more in-depth ads to go with the pre-event promotion. There will not be any advertising breaks during the actual forum. For those who would like to donate to help make the radio broadcast possible, but don't wish to have their names mentioned, anonymous cash donations are also being accepted. PUBLIC MEETING MAY 13- CITIZENS FOR CLEAN AIR Information and Awareness Forum on Ozone, Air Pollution, Health Effects & Solutions for Sublette County Citizens of Sublette County are invited to a public meeting and panel discussion on ozone and air pollution in the Upper Green River Valley. A panel of independent experts will discuss the issues and answer citizen questions. This is a grass-roots citizen-sponsored forum, independent of industry, BLM, county, state or federal government involvement. Your neighbors are sponsoring this event and have selected the guest speakers, who are from out of the area and not associated with development here, but are authorities on their topics. Forum panel includes Dr. Theo Colborn, an Environmental Health Specialist; Jeremy Nichols, Pollution Reduction Specialist; Jill Morrison from the Powder River Basin Council; and Mark Sullivan, Environmental Attorney. The forum will be on Tuesday, May 13th at the Pinedale Auditorium. Reception at 6:00 PM. Panel at 6:30 PM. A Question & Answer session will follow. The forum will be broadcast live on KPIN 101.1 FM Sublette County radio.
